Here I am prattling on about this thing called Twitter to a collection of patient, Dunedin based-school students. They spent the day with staff of the Department of Information Science (which includes me). We presented the students (from Columba, John Maclashan, Otago Boys High, and Logan Park) with a selection of research interests and they took on the challange to devise something new and innovative in that space.

Unsurprisingly, my challenge revolved around Twitter and mashups ;)

We had a lot of fun and I think the students did too. This is lucky, because we get to do it all again in Wellington in four days time. The team arrives Thursday afternoon for setup then we need something to do. Ideas, Wellington folk?
